What a day.

I woke up deathly sick. Body aches, cold chills, voice was gone. It was just terrible.

So, I just sleep as much as possible in my hotel room in the Pontchartrain Hotel on St. Charles Street. Then, when I go out, there is a massive storm occurring, but I didn’t really think anything of it. So I go out walking to get food, and boy was that a mistake.

As I was eating a Louisiana Catfish Poboy with some Louisiana Shrimp Gumbo, I hear a voice on the radio in the back kitchen of the restaurant say something about flash flooding. Well…
