Day one was mostly a meet and greet. I already met my instructor at an informal get together. His name is Sourabh and he’s from India.

It’s so freaking cool because I’ve always want to visit India and he seems like a genuinely good guy.

We talked about what we wanted out of the class, what we expected to learn, and then he told us that he’s not going to teach much hands-on coding.

I find that strange, but he mentioned to trust his process. He is a developer at a mobile app company here in town and he uses Angular JS or something like that.

I don’t know. We will be using code academy apparently, which is interesting too.

But, I’ll trust the process and not let day one get to me. But, we only have eight weeks, so I was expecting to hit the ground running here.

I’m ready to rock and roll here!
