It’s been over a month since I got back from my trek, and my mind is gone. Retail sales sucks. I hate it. Listening to people complain about a product they are about to purchase, then complain about the price of the product, and then still buy the product…I have an idea, don’t buy it if you don’t like it.

Too many people are spending hours of their life trying to convince themselves that what they are currently doing is their only option. I am one of them though.

I don’t like where I am, but I’m determined to get out of this.

I just reached out to TEFL Heaven. It’s a company that provides Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) training. I’ll see what they say, but I refuse to complain about things and not actively take steps in improving my situation.

My new motto is:

  1. If I don’t like something, change it.
  2. If I can’t change it, remove myself from it.
  3. If I can’t remove myself from it, then change my perception of it

My moldy storage room sucks. My job sucks. But you know what, I have it pretty good too. Billions of people have it much worse than I do.

So, I’m done complaining, and I’m going to be all about the solutions from here on out.

We’ll see what happens with TEFL stuff, but I am ready to make things happen because I demand a better world, and I am going to demand more from myself.
