Today, in a partnership with AIM and 75 North and myself, I graduated my 13 code camp attendees I’ve been so proud of the last seven weeks.

They arrived with no coding experience whatsoever, and by the time I was done with them they were coding fully functional webpages from scratch using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.

I loved teaching these kids, and even got a little teary-eyed when I announced the exceptional accolades at the end.

Me with my code camp student I awarded with the "Leadership Award" for being spectacular at being a leader

With my background in psychology, specifically learning theory and motivation, and the dozens of students I’ve had from all age groups and all walks of life, I’m so happy to hear many of them say that I am the best teacher they have ever had.

They came to me just eager young minds, and they are walking away with the skillset of junior developers.

Now, I teach one more class here in Omaha before I hop on the StartupBus and venture out to start my own company.

What a crazy ride the last year or so has been, and I’m not slowing down any time soon.

Catch me if you can, but I am a decision.
